“The Chosen” is a multi-season TV drama about Jesus Christ. Series creator Dallas Jenkins shows Jesus through the eyes of those who met Him, in a way that is more “personal, intimate, immediate.” The first season introduces Jesus and the calling of his disciples. The second focuses on the beginning of His public ministry. Seven seasons are planned, all through crowd-source funding. Episodes can be viewed for free with “The Chosen” app. A Messianic rabbi, a Catholic priest and an Evangelical professor serve as consultants to the series.
