Blessed is She -Shine Retreat

The Blessed is She Shine Retreat is all about recognizing God’s light in us and around us, with the realization that He is shining through us to be His light in the world. Come and learn about His great light and how you shine solely because of His goodness. Powerful worship and talks, Vigil Mass and Eucharistic adoration, delicious food, Blessed is She swag, and sweet sisterhood. What could be better?! This retreat is for any and all women 18 and older. Prince of Peace ACTS Retreat are held five times each year: Men's English ACTS Retreat, Women's English ACTS Retreat, Men's Spanish ACTS Retreat, and two Women's Spanish ACTS Retreats.  The 4-day, 3-night retreat is presented by parishioners.

The retreat begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday with a family fellowship celebration at Prince of Peace immediately following the 12:30 pm Mass. Round-trip transportation will be provided to and from the Circle Lake Retreat Center.

The cost per retreatant is $210. This fee covers all room and board, transportation, and retreat materials. Registration is on a first come first serve basis, with a waiting list thereafter. In order to reserve your place, a non-refundable deposit of $50 must be submitted with registration. Please note that financial difficulties should not prevent anyone from attending the retreat. Come and explore your faith with other Prince of Peace families, and leave all the hustle and bustle behind! All meals are provided from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast. There's fishing, canoeing, and Family Mass with other POP families.

The retreat is held every February at Mother of Perpetual Help Retreat Center. This weekend retreat is presented by women for women at Prince of Peace. The goals for the retreat are to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, renew us spiritually through silence and reflection, give new meaning to our prayer life and Sunday Liturgy, and build lasting friendships with members of our parish and faith community.

The cost per WITS retreatant is $135, with a $25 non-refundable deposit due at time of registration. Registration is on a first come first serve basis, with a waiting list thereafter.

The Men’s Retreat is held every January at the Holy Name Retreat Center. The retreat center is run by the Passionist order on their beautiful grounds on Bunker Hill.
Men of Prince of Peace are invited to this retreat that focuses on a theme discerned by a steering committee. This committee consists of parish representatives from across the Archdiocese and Passionist retreat center staff.
