We’re Grateful to Serve
For over 30 years, Prince of Peace has been blessed to provide Thanksgiving Dinner to the homeless, the poor, and people in crisis on Thanksgiving Day. Parishioners offer already prepared roasted turkeys, stuffing, gravy, and pies, or store-bought versions of the same packaged and canned foods, which feeds approximately 1,600 people at the following locations:
Resurrection Catholic Parish in the Denver Harbor Area
Magnificat Houses in Downtown Houston
Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen, near Minute Maid Park
Casa Juan Diego Men’s and Women’s Shelters, off of I-10 and Durham/Shepherd Drive
1960 Hope Center, off 1960 at 744 Cypress Creek Parkway
Be His Hands and Feet
Parishioners have four ways to be Christ’s hands and feet.
