OUR LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
At Prince of Peace we have many opportunities to serve the Lord and one another. Our nine weekend Masses and other liturgies require the generous talents of over 1200 volunteers. From altar servers and Eucharistic ministers to lectors and musicians, each role is essential to the beauty and life of this great Work of the Lord.
Please take a look at the following opportunities and contact us at email@example.com if you are interested in serving with us. Already serving with us? Log in to the Ministry Portal below.
Young members of the parish function as lay ministers by reverently assisting the celebrant and deacon during Sunday Mass and at special liturgies. Open to boys and girls who have celebrated their First Communion and can sit reverently and take direction from an MC during Mass.

Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Ushers are the first face of the parish. They warmly greet those coming into our church, offer assistance to those in need, distribute parish bulletins, take up the collection, assist with the flow of communion and distribute other materials as needed. Open to any adult or youth, ages 14 and up.
Assist the clergy and couples with the rehearsal and wedding service. Open to all parishioners. Must become commissioned EMHC. Set up for and attend one rehearsal and wedding per month.
We have several additional ministries that work “behind the scenes” to ensure everything is prepared appropriately for the Mass.
