Pastoral Council
About
The Pastoral Council advises the pastor on the vision, direction, plans and policies of the parish and the needs of the people we serve, embracing the spiritual and community aspects of our life at Prince of Peace. Council members serve a three-year term.
Who Can Join
Those serving on the council must be registered parishioners of Prince of Peace, be in full communion with the Catholic Church, be up to date with Safe Environment training and be enthusiastic about the mission and vision of the parish. New council members are selected through an annual discernment process.
When We Meet
We meet monthly, typically on the 4th Tuesday at 7 pm, and members are expected to be active in the community through networking and frequent presence at parish events.
