Parent Cafe
About
We support and guide parents in deepening their understanding of the faith, equipping them to pass on religious teachings and values to their children.

Why You Should Attend
Because it will help you grow in your own faith, gain valuable knowledge and resources to raise your children in a spiritual way, and build a supportive community with other like-minded parents.

Learn More About Parent Cafe
Parents are expected to come every week during their child’s faith formation time either as a volunteer or as a participant in our weekly Parent Cafe Session.
Because our Catholic faith is best learned and practiced within families, the Church calls parents to be the first and most important teachers of their children.
To help parents teach the faith to their children, we offer weekly Parent Cafe Sessions, a time when parents can learn how to pass on their faith to their children through presentations, small group discussions, as well as take-home resources.
It is our hope that our Parent Cafe sessions can address the decades of large numbers of young people leaving the faith (see statistics here).
If you have a conflict that prevents you from attending Parent Cafe sessions, please contact the appropriate staff member or volunteer to discuss other options.

This short one-hour online training teaches people how to create a secure and protected environment for everyone, especially children, by recognizing and preventing potential risks or harm.
