We gather to pray, evangelize, and perform various works of service, such as visiting residents in nursing home and assisted-living facilities, to share the love of Jesus and support the needs of the community.
Joining the Legion of Mary can be a meaningful and fulfilling experience for several reasons.
Firstly, it provides an opportunity to actively contribute to the mission of spreading the message of God’s love and compassion. Through various acts of service, such as visiting the sick, comforting the lonely, and evangelizing, members can make a positive impact in their community.
Secondly, being part of the Legion of Mary fosters personal spiritual growth and deepens one’s relationship with God. Regular prayer, study, and reflection sessions within the group offer a supportive environment for spiritual development.
Additionally, the Legion of Mary provides a sense of belonging and community, where members can form strong friendships and find support on their spiritual journey.
Ultimately, joining the Legion of Mary offers the chance to live out one’s faith in a tangible and impactful way, while also benefiting from the fellowship and spiritual nourishment of like-minded individuals.
