Volunteer to be a Eucharistic Visitor
Commissioned Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.
We bring the love and presence of Jesus by taking Holy Communion to individuals who are homebound, hospitalized, or in a nursing home.
Volunteers typically offer their time and service to visit and bring Holy Communion to the homebound, hospitalized, or those unable to attend Mass due to illness or other reasons.
The specific schedule may vary depending on the needs and availability of the volunteers, but they often participate in visits on designated days or as requested by the recipients and the parish.
You will bring comfort, support, and the presence of Christ to those unable to attend Mass, offering them spiritual nourishment and a sense of belonging within their faith community.
If you are 18 years old and above, our archdiocese requires all adult volunteers to complete safe environment training.
This short one-hour online training teaches people how to create a secure and protected environment for everyone, especially children, by recognizing and preventing potential risks or harm.
