Catechetical Sunday

Catechetical Sunday is an annual event in the Catholic Church where the community celebrates and recognizes the importance of religious education and catechesis.

A special blessing will be given to catechists (teachers of religious education) and those involved in passing on the teachings of the faith to others at all Masses for the September 16-17 weekend.

It is an opportunity to highlight the significance of faith formation and the role of catechists in nurturing the spiritual growth of individuals within the Church community.
