Finance Council

The Finance Council is appointed by the pastor and assists him in seeing that the financial and administrative affairs of Prince of Peace Catholic Community are properly conducted, supervised and reported.

The Finance Council monitors the care of all parish funds, physical properties, personnel, spending and systems, and monitors performance versus budget on a monthly and annual basis.  The Council also verifies that the parish's operating organization, programs, procedures, and ministries are cost-effective and meet both community needs and diocesan requirements.

Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is a consultative group of parishioners discerned by the Holy Spirit to offer advice to the pastor.  Discernment with all interested and qualified parishioners is held each year in late spring for four council positions commanding a three-year commitment.  The council meets monthly or as requested by the pastor

Serving at the discretion of the pastor and visible by their distinctive badges, Pastoral Council members accept and sometimes solicit opinions and questions from the parishioners on all matters of concern at Prince of Peace. The council also works closely with the Church Staff, Finance Council and Archdiocesan offices.
