Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about something really exciting happening in our parish. We’re launching a new Stewardship Program entitled: Building on Our Past – Securing Our Future. Now, I know ‘stewardship’ might sound like one of those church words that gets thrown around a lot but, essentially, stewardship is about something simple and powerful: recognizing that everything we have – our time, our talents, our resources – is a gift from God, and we get to use those gifts for His glory.

Our parish exists today because of the faith, sacrifice, and generosity of those who came before us. The people who built this church, who served in its ministries, who passed on the faith – they were living out stewardship. And now? Now it’s our turn. We have the opportunity, right here, and right now, to step up and carry that mission forward, making sure our parish remains a thriving place of worship, community, and service.

With this in mind, please review the contents of this brochure and prayerfully consider how you and your family can play an active role in continuing the work of Jesus Christ through our parish community. Our goal is to increase our Sunday offertory contributions to bring Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. When we give generously, when we invest in what God is doing, we’re not just keeping the lights on in the church. We’re changing lives. We’re helping people encounter Christ. And that’s something worth getting excited about.

So let’s do this together. On April 5-6, 2025, the parish will be holding a special Commitment Weekend. On this weekend, we will be inviting members of our community to come together and make a financial commitment that will allow Prince of Peace Catholic Community to continue God’s work. We’re counting on you!
