We seek to provide a welcoming Catholic environment in which children and families have support, unity, and acceptance. We strive to provide every child with opportunities to grow in developmental areas, such as spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical.
The Blessed Beginnings Office is on the first floor of the St. Joseph Center at Prince of Peace Catholic Community. We are open 8:45 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Thursday.

We provide classes that include a balance of faith formation and prayer, play activities, creative artwork, music, exercise, story time, gross and fine-motor skill development, language-building activities and learning centers.
- Sanctuary Time - Children are introduced to Bible stories and prayers in a Catholic environment.
- Faith Formation - Children learn about our Catholic faith through a dynamic early childhood program called Allelu!
- Music - All children have a daily lesson.
- Spanish - All children have a weekly lesson.

Is it a licensed facility?
Yes, Blessed Beginnings is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
What are the student/teacher ratios?
There are two teachers in every classroom: a lead and a support teacher. Our Toddler Room has three teachers.
• 2-year olds - 14 children per classroom
• 3-year olds - 15 children per classroom
• 4-year olds - 16 children per classroom
What type of training have teachers completed?
All teachers are required by the state to complete 24 hours of pre-service training. Annually they are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education in Early Childhood. Pre-K teachers have a bachelor's degree with teacher's certification.
Teachers are also trained in handling emergencies such as fire, tornado and lock down. Staff is required to have training in CPR and First Aid.
Who provides snacks and lunches?
The parents provide classroom snacks on a rotation schedule. Parents also provide lunches for their children. We do not provide meal service.
Do all classes have nap time?
All classes take a rest/quiet time for approximately 45 minutes. Vinyl mats for rest time are provided and kept sanitized.
How is discipline handled?
Blessed Beginnings uses only positive methods of discipline and guidance that encourage self-esteem, self-control, and self-direction.
