MASSES WITH ANOINTING

HELD IN THE MARY CHAPEL

Our faith community comes together at Mass for prayer and Eucharist in communion with our brothers and sisters who are facing illness or surgery.

Fourth Tuesday of "odd numbered" months at 7:00 pm, (English)
Fourth Thursday of "even numbered" months at 9:00 am, (English)
Second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm, (Spanish)

If you are ailing in any way or have scheduled a medical procedure (especially if you will be anesthetized), please request the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. When you come to Mass, you may simply ask a clergy member (priest or deacon) or one of our sacristans, and we will anoint you at the end of the Mass. If you or a loved one are in the hospital, please call Deacon Kenneth Stanley at 281-571-4112 or 281-460-4211 to request a priest for an anointing. If you have a loved one who is in hospice or ill at home or a facility, please ask for the Anointing of the Sick (aka - Last Rites) as soon as possible and do not wait until their last hours or moments, so we may locate a priest for the anointing. If you have any questions, please contact Deacon Kenneth at kstanley@pophouston.org or (281) 571-4112.

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
— James 5:14-15
