Love Others This Christmas Program
October 1 - December 13 | Fr. Ryan Stawaisz Community Center
Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Texas 249, Houston, TX, USA
“Wait… there’s no more Adopt-A-Family Christmas program?”
That’s right—because we’re launching something even better. 💛✨
Introducing our brand-new Love Others This Christmas program!
On the weekends of Nov. 22–23 & 29–30, you’ll see two Advent Giving Wreaths outside and one Advent Giving Tree in the narthex—each designed to help you share Christ’s love with those who need it most:
🎖 Veterans through Tunnels to Towers
👵 Senior Citizens at Tomball Rehab & local nursing homes
🎁 Children & their households right here in our community
Here’s how you can join in:
❤️ For the wreaths:
Pick a tag, purchase the needed gift, and drop it off in the labeled carts outside the Narthex Dec. 6–7. We’ll take care of delivery!
🎄 For the Giving Tree:
Choose a tag for a child (or several!) and bring the gifts to the Mercy Center before or after Mass Dec. 6–7. Each family will also receive Christmas food items and a gift card for their holiday table.
December 13 | Love Others This Christmas Program Volunteer Opportunity
We need volunteers to help with gift pick-ups for our Love Others This Christmas program. This Saturday, December 13, from 9–11 am, Resurrection Parish’s truck will be on campus to collect their parish’s gifts, and volunteers are needed to help load the truck. Then, at 1 pm, Prince of Peace families will arrive to pick up their gifts. Come serve our community and share the joy of Christmas. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
🙌 Want to help even more?
We need lots of volunteers! Visit POPHouston.org/loveothersvolunteer to sign up.

Let’s spread joy, hope, and generosity together this Christmas. 💛🎄
NOMINATE AND Love Others This Christmas!
Bring real hope this Christmas through our parish-wide “Love Others” effort at Prince of Peace. Prince of Peace clergy, staff members, or registered parish members may nominate a household with children (up to age 17) facing crisis—such as fire, domestic violence, accident, death, or job loss. After nomination, Mercy Ministry will interview a parent/guardian for eligibility in our Love Others This Christmas Program.
Download the form online today at POPHouston.org/loveothers.
